LGBT hate crime or incidents can occur in a number of places, such as your home, your school, in your neighbourhood, when you are out socialising or simply walking down a street.

Bede House also runs SAFE, a programme for contacting a dedicated LGBT worker for help and support about domestic violence and hate crime. You can chat online with a worker using our secure system, or use the SAFE phone number to send a text message asking for help or support.
