Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) hate crime
can take many forms but frequently it involves one or more of the following:
LGBT hate crime or incidents can occur in a number of places, such as your home, your school, in your neighbourhood, when you are out socialising or simply walking down a street.
What do we offer?
If you are LGBT and have been a victim of an LGBT hate crime or
incident then Bede House is here to help.
You can make an appointment to see us at Bede House or we can arrange to meet you at a more convenient location. We will also arrange a convenient time; this does not have to be during office hours if you work office hours.
What action can you take?
It is important to report all LGBT hate crimes or incidents
to someone, whether you experience it yourself or know someone who has.
Without reporting
the crime or the incident the harassment will continue.
